Nicolo started his FinTech journey as Product Lead for the launch of the MEDICI platform and soon migrated into a partnership role first in the US and then in Europe. He currently leads the business expansion in EMEA.

Prior to MEDICI, Nicolo developed a strong corporate finance background working for a leading Italian boutique consulting firm and he led the APAC expansion of his pharma distribution company. Nicolo’s passion is building things and bringing to market world-changing products.

Nicolo Petrone is an international Economist with a BA degree in Economics from one of the top Italian Universities, Federico II which is also the world’s second-oldest university. Nicolo continued his education with an MA degree in International Business from Hult International Business School (San Francisco), the 13th best school ranked for Masters in Management Worldwide (The Economist) and he recently completed a specialization in Business Analytics at the Wharton Business School.
