Paolo Meciani

Founder of BIME Consulting, consultancy and advisory in the field of insurance innovation and Insurtech Coordinator in Assofintech, Italian Association for Fintech and Insurtech. Paolo was Co-founder and CEO of an Insurtech startup dedicated to the support of intermediation and insurance consultancy.

As a Principal in leading consultancy firm, Paolo has twenty years of experience, mainly in the insurance sector, with raids also in the Automotive and Pharma sectors. Paolo has followed both domestic customers and some of the most renowned corporate brands, often operating in an international context.

For insurance companies he has guided M&A programs, transformation in sales and marketing, taking care of the design of sales networks, the organization of company sales and CRM. He also has experience in claims management and underwriting. In IT, he has skills in strategies, business plans, PMO and system integration.

Paolo is the author of articles on distribution and the impact of innovation, co-author of a book on insurance distribution and speaker at conferences on the topic of insurance innovation.
